Through collaboration between Students Community Services (KKN) students and the community, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) has inaugurated the Mosque Hall as a community center in Geudumbak Village, Langkahan District, North Aceh,  supported by Universitas Gadjah Mada Alumni Association (KAGAMA) Aceh Regional Board and Universitas Gadjah Mada – Civil Engineering Alumni Association (Katsgama) 1996. KKN UGM Students introduce waste processing technology using low-pollution incineration.

UGM Students Community Services (KKN UGM) students from the Gumilang Gunem unit conducted a socialization program to introduce simple technology for burning waste with minimal smoke pollution in Panohan Village, Gunem District, Rembang, Central Java. The socialization and demonstration of the use of this simple incinerator was a solution to the problem of village-scale waste management using simple tools and materials such as lightweight bricks, cement, sand, and iron. Students of Universitas Gadjah Mada Students Community Service (KKN UGM), who were members of the Gumilang Gunem Team, carried out an information board installation activity in collaboration with the Panohan Village Government. This information board installation activity in Panohan Village originated from the lack of strategic village information, such as a map of Panohan Village, a map of MSMEs and Neighborhood Association (RT/RW) houses, the history of Panohan Village, and tourist spots in Panohan Village. KKN UGM Students Teach Residents of Banyuurip Rembang to Process Organic Waste into Liquid Fertilizer

Banyuurip, Rembang already has facilities for processing inorganic waste. However, it does not have facilities for processing organic waste. The community there also does not know how to process it.

Forty-seven UGM students carried out a Students Community Services (KKN) in Rembang Regency. One of the programs they provided to the villagers was making organic waste composters. They taught the residents of Banyuurip Village, Gunem Subdistrict, how to process food waste into fertilizer. Selengkapnya

Through the Sapuran Berperan – UGM Students Community Services (KKN UGM), students are present to change this perception through various innovative work programs oriented towards community empowerment.
