Sendang-wonogiri.desa.id│ Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) once again releases its students to take part in the PPM Community Service Program. Located on the Grha Sabha Pramana (GSP) of UGM on Saturday (06/23/2018), the release of KKN PPM students was conducted directly by the Village Minister, Disadvantaged Regions and Transmigration, Eko Putro Sandjojo.
Puguh Wintoro, General Manager of the Dieng GeoDipa Unit said that it was a pleasure to work together with UGM in a geothermal socialization program. The community has the right to know that geothermal energy is environmentally friendly energy. Pekasiran Village people live side by side with one of the geothermal producing areas, namely Candradimuka which has a potential of around 50 MW. Candradimuka is one of the areas included in the Geodipa geothermal development plan. Hopefully with this activity, community support will become even more massive so that development activities run well.
The 31 UGM students will attend Community Service Program in Sei Gohong Village and Habaring Hurung Village, Bukit Batu District.
